Nursing services administer 6 wards for caring people with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Details are as follows;
1) Ward 1
Servicing Program:  Early Intervention Program for Children Aged 1½ -3 years
Objectives:

1. Services to improve development of children with intellectual disabilities aged 1 year and 6 months to 3 years include:
- Enhancing  gross motor skills, fine motor skills, receptive language, expressive language , social and activities of daily living
- Group activity; massage, recreation, music, etc.
2. Services to increase parents potential to look after their children with intellectual disabilities are following:
- Providing knowledge and skills training on development of children aged 1 year and 6 months to 3 years.
- Individual counseling
- Peer-to-peer  group activity
Scope of work
Open for 1 year and 6 months to 3 year old children with intellectual disabilities on Monday to Friday from 08.00-15.00hr.
2) Ward 2
 There are 2 servicing programs available:
1. Early Intervention Program for 3-5 Years Old Children
Objectives

1.1 Improve development of children with intellectual disabilities support the correction of undesirable behaviors problems.
1.2 Empower parents potential in developmental supports and self-corrections of basic behavioral problems as well as raising them according to their age to get ready to take care of their children.
Service Expectations
Children
- Enhancing Gross motor skills, fine motor skills, receptive language, expressive language , social and activities of daily living

- Group activities such as meditation, physical exercise, massage, recreations, games, storytelling, art, taste and smell
Parents/ Guardians
- Individual/ group activities, relevant knowledge, skills enhancement for child development, for instance, child diseases, continuing in-house development, patients rights, psycho support, etc.
Scope of Work
- 3-5 year old children with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Parents/ guardians can join the training activities every day.
- Training period is one year divided into 3 trimesters and 1 month home program on each trimester.
- Open on Monday to Friday from 08.00-16.00hr.
2. Pre-school Program
Pre-school program is designed for preparedness service for persons aged 3-5 years with intellectual and developmental disabilities before going to schools.
Service Expectations
- Individual development on basic skills such as gross motor skills, fine motor skills, receptive language, expressive language , social and activities of daily living

- Preparedness activities such as movement, continuing obedience of commands, communicating, pencil holding and writing, recognizing characteristics of things, recognizing numbers, alphabet pairing, etc.
Parents/ Guardians
- Individual/ group activities, relevant knowledge, skills enhancement for child development, for instance, continuing development at home, preparedness before schooling, psycho support, etc.
Scope of Work
- 3-5 year old children with intellectual disabilities, who passed the development program for children aged 3-5 years at least 1 phase
- 3-5 year old children with intellectual disabilities, who passed 8 items out of 10 of pre-school programs criteria.
- Training duration is one year divided into 3 trimesters and 1 month home program during each trimester.
 Open on Monday to Friday from 08.00-16.00hr.
Working Unit: Case Manager Center
 It is a center for collaboration and administration of persons aged 6-18 years with intellectual disabilities in conjunction with other agencies in charge of promoting development of children together with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the practice conforming to the treatment plan, and responding to problems and optimal needs from admitting to discharging with the following duties:
1. Evaluate the potential of the intellectually disabled persons aged 6-18 years, who are new patients to be considered for referring to development programs suitable for their abilities:
- Basic development program for children aged 6-18 years
- Continuing development program for children aged 6-18 years
2. Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, for example, health care and pharmaceutical treatment.
3. Coordinate with staff of the 2 programs for planning of activities for children development according to their abilities and problems. Activities are as follows:
Activities for brain development for learning for children with intellectual disabilities aged 6-18 years are facilitated once a week.
   1. Brain development for learning through art
   2. Brain development for learning through play
   3. Brain development for learning through music 
 4. Manage activities for mental health care of children with intellectual disabilities aged 6-18 years.
 Supportive group is an activity designed for parents/guardians of children with intellectual disabilities aged 6-18 years, who receive services in both basic development program and continuing development program twice a month.
 Family empowerment is an activity designed for parents/guardians of children with intellectual disabilities aged 6-18 years, who receive services in both basic development program and continuing development program twice a month.
Scope of Service:  Open for children with intellectual disabilities aged 6-18 years on Monday to Friday from 08.30-15.00hr.

4) Ward 3
Service Program:  Basic Development Program for Children Aged 6-18 Years
This program provides services for persons with intellectual disabilities aged 6-18 years for basic program such as attention and concentration, fine motor skills, receptive language and correction of behavioral problems.
Service Expectations
- Individual skills training
- Gross motor and fine motor skills training activities
- General language (things, animals, plants) my body and reproductive organs
- Brain development program for learning with rhythmic postures
- Massaging and tasting group
- Brain development for learning through art
- Brain development for learning through play
- Parents/ guardians knowledge giving and their supportive group
Scope of Service:  Provide services for the intellectually disabled persons aged 6-18 years on Monday to Friday from 08.30-16.00hr.
5)  Ward 4
Service Program: Continuing Development Program for Children Aged 6-18 Years
The program provides services for persons with intellectual disabilities of their preparedness for daily life such as dressing, body cleaning, eating, excretion, using of restroom, basic household chores and puberty preparedness.
  Service Expectations:
- Individual training according to the development program for daily life
- Massage therapy
- Brain development activity for learning through art
- Brain development activity for learning through play
- Treatment for drooling of saliva
- Basic household skills (cooking, sweeping, mopping, drying, keeping and folding of clothes)
- Knowledge training for parents/ guardians on medications, puberty preparedness, continuous training program at home
- Supportive group for parents/ guardians
Scope of Service
Persons with intellectual disabilities aged 6-18 years are admitted to the program for 12 weeks on Monday to Friday from 08.30-16.00hr.
